Hello Guys,

I have a Dlink 816 router and would like to find out if there is any way I can block Apex Legends on my router? My flatmate doesn't have self-respect, no regard towards others and is very inconsiderate, he plays this game day in and day out yelling and screaming at other players and I am at a point where I want to throw his PC out of the window and hope a car runs it over, but that's not going to solve my problem it's just going to make matters worse. I have spoken to him about this many times over and over but its always the same end result.

I haven't had a proper nights rest in days and my studies are falling behind because I can't focus with all of his YELLING and Swearing and table hitting. If there is a way to block the traffic of Apex legends on the router that would be GREAT!

I've tried doing it myself but failed at getting it to work any assistance would be amazing! Google isn't helping either on this matter and I can't find the server IP list with the correct servers to block and the ports for UDP and TCP is also not really working for NAT Tables

Kind Regards

Who's router is it,who's paying for connectivity?

This is your problem.

You need to tell that nai to grow the **** up and to respect the fact that you need to study.

Failing that - and because most normal PC users do not enable a password to access the BIOS - when he's out, turn on his PC and disable L2 cache.
He'll throw the PC out of the window himself.

You can find the ports used here (or on EA's site...)

But usually, a mission to block stuff with home routers.
Yes it's a mission to do so especially on the router that we have not really a router that I would call full of functionality

Step 1 : Log on to computer
Step 2 : Start > Run > Format c:
Step 3 : ????
Step 4 : Profit
That's going to start a war and a fight also I think he would be pissed if all his things are gone

This, I like! going to keep it as an option. He normally leaves his PC on and unlocked

I did add the TCP and UDP ranges to the NAT table and tried to block it this way but nothing happened

Setup opendns and block origin.com. No origin no Apex Legends. After setting up opendns and block origin.com I get this.

This is a very evil thing to do, hopefully the guy does not kill @Faziki for blocking Apex.

He is not tech-savvy enough to know what is going on and how to fix it he would probably think its something to do with the international lines that got damaged.

If I can study and have a good nights rest it will be worth it.

Definitely going to check this out

Both of us are paying for the internet and the router
As much as his behavior might be problematic,as much as you have a right to peace he has a right to use the connection he's paying for without interference
In business we often have cases where Management tries to solve People-problems with technological solutions which is just a band-aid

He might suspect something if he can't access Origin on his phone connected to WiFi either.

I'm standing by my idea of fuccking things up in the BIOS. It's not as obvious. Once you are done, add a password to that bad boy!

@OP you better try all our ideas and come back to update us on his reactions
