Not too sure what you're asking. they're both going to do the job, the one with more flexibility perhaps.

just wondering if the linksys when used as a modem is a bit better... suppose linksys just has router functionality and wireless functionality

other than that they all the same hey ??

The Linksys is not an ADSL modem it is just a router/wireless router

If you need the wireless functionality then go with the linksys but then you will have to buy a seperate ADSL modem.

Depends what you want to do actually

I have the 54GL and an ADSL router as well. The wireless on my ADSL router is rubbish so I use the Linksys for wireless and plug it in to the ADSL router.

Its a great piece of equipment.

yeah it is... however i dont use wireless so got no need for router then...

how do i get rid of it on this site ??? what price do they go for ??

I wouldn't get rid of the WRT54GL. That thing is a gem with antennas.

If you're wondering how to put it to good use, here is an example.

Honestly man that's just one of the cool things you can use it for.

I got it to use on the Jawug but haven't set this up as yet :/
I think that some people are also using it on those VPN international over local accounts.
