You are accepting ads that randomly display on shoddy webpage to "dll fix" your slow running computer as something legitimate. Well it's not. It's malware, so install it if you want to be infected.

Sounds like a 100% horrible idea. Those tools have pretty much zero chance of fixing anything, but can do a lot of damage.

Rather post the error message here. Chances are someone can help you.

As someone said earlier, this guy posts stupid questions or statements and never responds. The only reason I'm replying is not to have anyone else misinformed that might read this in future. It's irritating as hell having to answer his pathetic threads the whole time.

I see. Thx for warning.

Heh, only DLL problem I experienced, was deleted virus dlls that a win machine infected my flash drive with, other than that, yeah, also in WINE.

/agrees

& if you ask him questions to get the right info so you can help him or lead him in the right direction he either does not answer your questions or asks other unrelated questions while ignoring you, but he quotes you. & if we don't magically sniff the solution he starts a duplicate thread.

one of these days he'll probably DL XP antivirus or one of those & pay for it.

Then later moan here...

In my view he should either pay another person to fix his PC problems or if he has a brave friend he should ask the friend to solve the problem while watching &/or even following instructions to fix it.

Maybe, just MAYBE then he'll start understanding.

I am starting to think that maybe he should take the same advice that the WordPerfect (I think?) guy gave to a customer, who complained that their screen was blank, and it turned out to be a power failure.

Wow you are all so kind! The thing is i am busy learning about pcs and at the moment i am waiting for me adsl line to get installed. Sitting with an internet phone and browsing and searching for answers is not that comfortable at all. When i get my adsl line things will be much easier and better for researching and browsing. Also the phone is very expensive also. Oh and do not judge others or you will be judged and you do not want that, do you? If you do not have something good to say to another then do not say anything at all. Not all are computer geniuses and instead of not wanting to answer my silly questions also do not insult me. I might be much better at other things than you are. We all have to learn you also had to do it. But for those who take the effort to help me this far i appreciate it and you will be blessed for that for sure. Have a great day all.

No one is judging you. The way you act on the forum is likened to a spammer.

Let me explain some forum etiquette, please remember this:

1. Create one thread per topic (even if you have 10 things to ask, please stay on one thread as far as possible).
2. If someone responds to your thread, it means they also used they're money and time to do it. So at least have the decency to reply to our comments. My internet is just as expensive, you are not exempt.
3. Should you have a question, give as much detail you can. Giving short nonsensical statements about a question or problem just makes it harder for anyone else to assist you.
4. Be polite and friendly, just as you are in person. Don't treat people different on a forum that you would in actual life.

That's about it. Four points for you to consider. Go with it ;) :D :p

Thanks appreciate you giving me some guidance on the forum. No where have i been unfriendly to anyone, i just did not feel good at what i just read previously. I am not ignoring others on their comment they just did not give me proper answers. And because i am learning i do not know what else to say on my threads so they can help me. For me who are learning my questions seem good, but for them that are pros my threads seem not so good. Also is it not better and more organized placing new threads at approriate sections? I thought i was doing others a favour should they struggle with the same thing they will see my threads and receive the help they need. That is what i was hoping to do too. Thanks again.

G,

firstly you are over sensitive.

People get annoyed coz they are answering your questions & while we do that you ask it again somewhere else. Some of your questions make no ''technical sense'' then we will ask questions to ''draw out'' of you what we need to know so we can answer your questions.

Another thing: on the forum we can help you with technical problems & other, but we are not your textbooks or teachers.

Learn from your books & teachers first. If there are things that are confusing & you need clarity or further assistance then I'm sure we can help you.
