I've written alot of DVD's in my day but this is the first time I've ever gotten this error;

DMA-driver error, CRC error

I've tried to Google this error but I seem to have found ALOT of posts and no one knows WTF it means.

I have 2x SATA Lite-on DVD Writers, the writer that gave the error was a 18x version and using Nero

Anyone got some insight?

If you're running this on an IDE slot, the cable might be dodgy. Alternatively, it could be that Nero has somehow gone pear-shaped. If you establish that it's the latter, uninstall it and use a cleaning tool to remove all traces of Nero. Then re-install it and try again. Also try a firmware update on the writer, perhaps?? My 2c

I don't think you read my post properly cause if you did, you'd have seen the part where I mentioned that it's SATA WRITERS!!!!!!! :D

I'd blame it on a bad DVD/CD. It means there is a mistake on the DVD/CD that the error correction can't handle. Why this would happen while *writing* is a mystery to me...unless you had the verify data option checked.
