DNA Airfryer Oven

I made bacon "biltong" using the dehydrator function and it was bloody brilliant. Will try find pic on my IG feed and post here later
Maybe take a look at Pants Down Aprons On on youtube (yeah, I do realise how dodgy the name is). He has a few cured meat recipes which include options for food dehydrators

So as not to step on the purist Philips movement, I'm giving this bad boy it's own thread :ROFL:

@Herr der Verboten can confirm that the TOAST function works rather well, actually.

Jalapenos only? Ghost peppers must already be done then, lol. Such a mild breakfast for you, Poppie.

I second the motion about this content being banned after making us all drool like rapists again.

Well... My bosch oven can do just that when I put it on roast + fan which I prefer over just the broiler. Which reminds me I need to prep some dough for pizza night.

What I like about this is I don't have to wait for a traditional oven to heat up, it's instant; those cheese topped buns were in for 4 minutes start to end.

I don't think our pizza stone would fit in here, though

Have anyone had both this and the Philips Airfryer?
Our use case is mainly juicy chicken breast fillets, and the main complaint about the Philips is cleaning it properly is a mission.

For me this is much easier to clean but we don't have the super large Philips one, ours is the one that wouldn't fit a full chicken and the DNA is far easier to clean (slide out drip tray and racks).

For a 5th of the price of all these plastic rebranded convection ovens, you can have a "air fryer", big enough that can actually cook a meal for a whole family and easy to clean

I don't know wtf they did to this batch of pickled jalapenos but they're actually VERY BLOODY HOT

Mrs Bosch takes care of cleaning mine.

How do you clean it? That would be my primary concern vs the Phillips. Glass window must get dirty + you'll have to wipe the sides?
