I'm battling to redirect a site using DNS A-records. A friend built a site using one of those online web builders. This was the instructions from the web builder for using her own .co.za domain name for her site instead of their randomly generated URL:
"Once purchased, please ask your domain name provider to point your 'DNS A-record' to the IP address of our servers. You may have to wait 72 hours for the change to take effect. If in doubt after this period, double-check that your domain name provider that they have "pointed" your A-record and not just forwarded your domain."
As I registered her domain name directly with Uniforum, I guess I am the domain name provider lol. If anyone has any idea how to do this with Uniforum's text-based update forms, please let me know!
