I use my Cell C MF 668 3G modem on both my PC and my laptop. On the PC, my firewall (Zonealarm) logs the DNS address of 41.49.xxx.xxx
On my laptop the logs list 10.11.12.13 & 14. I've read that these are fake DNS server addresses or something. Looking at the logs in outgoing traffic I have anywhere from a few up to 40 blocked outgoing packets to these addresses on UDP port 137. NetNameBios is said to be associated with this port.
But while surfing, Firefox plugin container tried to access the internet zone, and I clicked the deny option in the ZA popup. Then another popup came up on the screen saying that FFP was blocked and the correct DNS address appears - 41.49.xxx.xxx
What's going on, and what can I do about this? Just a ZA gui bug, or what?
