Could some help me out with all the relevant settings for setting up a 3g data card modem

DNS, Proxies etc etc

I did a search and got a lot of results - but nothing clear.

You should not need to configure anything (on Windows, at least). The settings are automatically 'pushed back' to your client.

What is your setup? I.e. why do you need the settings? They actually change depending on area/apn.

well at the moment i can barely get anything to load, so i was hoping if i set up some DNS / proxy it might make a difference.
