Hi, I am running my own web server from home, everything is going grate, but if I enter my domain from a pc on my network (behind the router) it takes me to my routers config page, but I want it to take me to my server, so I set up a DNS server on my linux box (Bind9 on Ubuntu 6.06 LTS) and then I went to my routers config and tried to set the DNS servers IP in the Lan config, but its says that I have an invalid IP (10.0.0.5). I am using a Telkom ADSL 5102G Router.

Any ideas how I can tell my router where my DNS server is?

Theres an option to use local DNS in the lan settings under Interface setup...

It would be better to use Bind to host a caching DNS server on your lan, and point bind to the router for unknown names.. Just point you local workstations to the bind server for DNS.
