Do Broadband 3 or NeoGO??

What do you think will be the best option to go for now?

I'm currently using Telkom Do Broadband 3. In total costs me R695 per month with 5GB of data.

NeoGO will cost me R299 per month for 1.5GB and 08c per GB out of bundle. That means for the R396 I save on the Do Broadband 3 I can get another 4.9GB of Data.

So in total it looks like this:

Telkom - R695
Neotel - R695

Telkom - 5GB
Neotel - 6.45GB

Telkom - 4mbps down
Neotel - 3.1mbps down

Telkom - 512kbps up
Neotel - 1.8mbps up

I think it's a good idea to cancel my Telkom account and go for Neotel NeoGO.

What do you think?
 
From what I have heard the reliability and speed of NeoGO can't be compared with ADSL - I hope I am wrong because I would love to be able to use a different ISP

NeoGO is a wireless service right?
If it is then it won't be cool for online gaming. Latency in cables is far more superior than wireless connections. So unless you a hardcore gamer (Xbox LIVE, PC etc. etc.) then NeoGO price seems very very reasonable.

I had the same idea. I have just been told that, No, you cannot trial the device and if you find that your connectivity is much weaker than your ADSL then tough - you've signed your contract and they will not let you out.

This is the theory but in practice it may not be the case - there are other factors. I have ADSL at home and get ~230ms to a server in Europe. At work I have a wireless link through Uninet and get ~180ms to the same server.
