Do camera triods have standard size mounting screws?

So i need to take a few videos, I have a phone that can do FHD and I have a camera tripod at home from 10 years ago when someone thought that I would like one for Christmas (what the fk for, who knows). I wanted to get a mount like the one below so I could use my phone on the tripod and eliminate that juttery and shaky feel to a video.

Is the mounting screw that I would have put my camera on a standard thread size or do they all differ?

Seems it is this as the camera I had back then was Nikon Coolpix S6400

You get two sizes - 1/4" and 3/8" but the most common one is the 1/4"
