Do I have a unlocked iPhone 3g ?

I'm pretty close to Jail breaking to be honest, might sound silly but my main gripe at the moment is cut and paste. The lack of such a insignificant little feature is driving me mad. For some reason MTN sends SMS's from 1023 bracketed, this blocks the the add to contacts/call number feature on the iPhone.

Well yesterday I did the deed got out o dodge and jail broke my iPhone 3G. Got clippy but it still does not do a proper copy and paste job. I use copy and paste mainly in my SMS app but for some reason clippy only allows the whole SMS to be copied and not part of it, buy the time you have created a new entry in your phone book you would have been better of memorizing the number and doing it manually. I'll ride it out until 3.0 comes along and see if it's worth a restore.
