Do I have to buy a disk?

Someone I know won't have internet access for a long time and has given me their account. I would just like to know if I have to buy the WoW disk or will I be able to find it somewhere else (preferably with the patches) ?

Best bet is to

If your friend that gave it to you is able to it would probably be easiest to get the game client from him

Just copy his wow directory complete, would have all the patches in there.

Ok so I got his original disc and the 700mb I think patch. Now I don't really have that much bandwidth. Is there any place I could get the other patches on a disc?
