That's because you're using a cheap flash disk. Get the Corsair flash Voyager GT to see proper USB 2.0 speeds.

I dunno man, when i look at a mobo i'm more worried about:
- Total nr of Sata's
- Total Ram slots and max capacity per slot
- CPU Compatability
- The sticker on the box hehe j/k


in my world usb's are used for Digital camera's, 3G Modems, Webcam, Flash drives, mouse and keyboard

imo, the usb is fast enough....

From a HDD enclosure benchmark that I've seen USB3 is around three times faster than USB2. They managed to copy a 3.5GB file in 46 seconds compared to 135 seconds on USB2.

Then of course there's the extra power that USB3 has. In future you should see more and more devices being charged off USB3.

An Asus motherboard with USB 3 was already sold on the Prophecy forums a few weeks ago. :wtf:

I think that was the one i had bought. It only had SATA3 not USB3. The P7P55D-E Premium has both USB3 and SATA3.

SATA3 devices are expensive too so i won't be using the feature till prices come down
