DO NOT use MWEB Uncapped, you'll find random services just crawling....

From the other half that didn't have problems, duh!

MWEB issues tend to coincide with other issues, like SEACOM rubbish but even during those times it is ok.

Every ISP has problems. When you have a large one like MWEB, there are bound to be a few more people unhappy. It's just common sense to be honest. Every ISP I have ever been with have had their fair share of problems and none have been as effective or responsive as MWEB when it comes to solving them.

It's sloooooow at the moment. Loading a 5 minute music video on Youtube took 25 mins then timed out about 90% of the way there.

Does anyone else think it's funny that half the MWEB subscribers have had issues since the first of May yet not one MyBB article on the issue?

Perhaps because they were mostly user specific? Or maybe because it was Telkoms problem... Congested exchanges and the likes...

I dont think that is true... Yes, there were problems when the new london device went on-line and the new shaper come on-line.. But remember a very low percentage of mweb subscribers are members of this forum. The the type of user that will post here, will be power users.

I actually still have a problem with my speeds,, my http does not go full speed, but I am in contact with technical support and we are sorting it out.

Of course it's not true. It's just another example of this whole thing being blown out of proportion. If we are going to invent figures to justify arguments, I'll wager the percentage of Mweb subscribers having issues is a small fraction of their total user base. Sure, those problems are not insignificant, but I believe they are being addressed if not always to the affected peoples' total satisfaction. As fbman notes, those posting here with problems are both power users and members of this forum - what kind of percentage of Mweb's total user base could that be? Half? Somehow, I don't think so...

Hi LisaConradie,

Please advise if there is anything in particular you having trouble with.
I would like to have this matter investigated for you.

Kind regards,
MWEB Guy

So after starting two threads (less than 30 minutes apart) trashing MWEB, it seems the OP has not replied (unless by PM) to the question above.

I am currently getting 15KB/s from my Mweb hosted server, using my Mweb uncapped 4MB :mad:

Done 15Gb so far no issues yet, low latency in RiFT, smooth [-]porn[/-] youtube and fast steam updates/downloads. Can't say it's back to "1st may" where as mine for now seems back to normal and OK...
