With a recorded 21832 new cases yesterday, including 844* reported deaths, do you think we need to go back to a harder lockdown? Or do we need to give the current level (three) time to work? Or perhaps dispense with lockdown altogether?

*It should be noted that of the 844 the 452 reported from the Eastern Cape were as result of a "data reconciliation dating between May and November 2020"

No we do not need a harder lock down, what we do need is getting the idiots to wear masks, sanitize and social distance, and somehow teach the retards, consideration for their fellow beings, who have issues, like asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart issues, etc.

Covid might not be a issue for you personally, but it is a death sentence for the person standing next to you. So some how we have to learn how to "look after" the person standing next to you, mission impossible in this country I think, but that is what we should be doing.

Law enforcement should not be out there to tell little naughty kids, to wear a mask, social distance and sanitize - and enforce it if necessary. That is not their job.

We want to be infantile about how we go about our daily lives, then so be it. Life is about choice and consequence.

Don't forget that the reason it was 21832 new cases was because it was the first time we actually hit 70k tests a day. But than again the 21832 new cases isn't a daily figure as the tests results can be 2 hours to who knows how long.

Seems that's close to double the normal amount of testing? Who'd have thought the more you test the higher the number of new cases would be.

I know right? I mean it's almost like it makes sense, same as if you're looking for something with such persistance you probably are going to find it.

You are are pretty poor bunch of twats, if your government has to make laws, to enforce simple social interaction.

Also it is equally retarded to make laws, you have not the means to effectively enforce.
The statute books must be full of laws that should be common sense, but clearly they still need to be there.

That points to a severe lack in the society that produced the necessity for such idiocy - but back to what I said earlier - having a crap load of retarded law, on the books, without the means to enforce them effectively, is an exercise in futility all in itself. Total waste of resources.

Lockdown the areas violating the rules. Let the rest of us carry on as per normal in whatever level of lockdown we are in.
Stop with the beaches...there are people having parties and flaunting the pictures on FB yet people on beaches meters apart from each other will be hunted down. And drug lords left to carry on their business.

I know people who have not went for the test .. and they pretty obviously had/ve it. Sometimes it is too late when other members of the household get the symptoms first and by the time the results are in, the others start showing the symptoms. Why go for a test at this point? Isolate from society to prevent spreading it further.

The reported numbers does not reflect the actual infections and the growth of actual infections will not be very much linear to the reported cases.
