I see a growing trend where people are watching their data from hard drives not disks.
Would it not make sense to do away with those things and sell/rent movies on a mini drive.
The drive can be formatted by the purchaser if he wishes or traded in for another without worrying about the condition of the disk as they are more prone to scratches and damage.
sure it will be more expensive then a regular disk but the resale value would be much higher.
