This is the guy who shot to fame by showing his 'gat' at an ANC youth league meeting, or was it someone else. He is a personification of No news is good news. I feel the press should not report on him nor show pics of him. Let us just forget about him. Our presidents biggest problem is his Malema dilemma.

I would have said the same thing when the whole Malema craze started, but now it is clear he has serious power and wouldn't use that power very wisely if he gets into government. We do need to keep him in check if at all possible, what he says or does influences his followers and there are a lot of them. Plus of course Zuma called him a good leader and future leader etc. He is important now even if the media made most of the importance, he won't simply go away.

Talk to people outside the choir, because the choir agree with the preacher. Talk to the petrol jockey, discuss why malema is a ass, give examples and reasons, this is the only way to blunt his power. Work the numbers, 1000 people talk to 20 other people and convince them that Malema is not worth anything any more, and you get where I am going...

I think everyone takes him too seriously. He gets his so-called power from other people--the admirers AND the haters. I bet if everyone stopped giving a darn about what he says and does, he'll stop appearing as influential as he does now.

I agree. The country needs to be shown how they are also being led to the slaughter by the parasitic government.

Unfortunately, although they may merely not participate in a confrontation, there are enough fools to attempt it, once the government starts with the land grab.

This problem is like the days before Iraq was invaded. A friend asked what I thought about the question, of whether the USA would invade or not, since many felt it would be called off.

I said it would go ahead. Why? Logistics. It would cost more, to bring back everything, that was put in place for the invasion, than it would, to have the war.

Everything is being put in place right now.

Would you rather have your head in the sand than know about a rabble rouser stiring trouble?

Malema should just be ignored, let him bark like a rabit dog eventually he will fade into the background where he belongs. The media makes him strong. The more coverage he gets the more he will rant & rave. Despite all the retoric he spews I am sure Mr. J. Zuma is acutely aware that South Africa will survive a Zim kind of policy.

It must be remembered that the the ANC strength lies in the grassroots, they are the people that voted the likes of Mr. J.Zuma into power and they have to be appeased. So let Malema shout and go mad that is his job. In the corridors of power things are well to keep South Africa on track as witnessed over the past few years. Yes mistakes were and are being are but they are learning. It took the previous government over 40 years to perfect the art of deception, broeder bond and the rest.

South Africa is no different from any other country. America has a "Malema" the UK has and so forth. So rest assured the wheels will turn while the idiots scream. I have faith in this country we can & wll be the super power on this continent and a major player in the world markets.
