Do you drink wine ?

No thanks. Tastes terrible. I like the stuff that tastes & looks like cooldrink.

Where are you guys based? CPT or JHB?

I know my boss recently moved up to JHB from CPT and he loves wine. When he was invited to watch a rugby game a few weeks back, he was the only one that brought wine along and everyone else bought Castle.

He reckons in CPT, more guys drink wine.

What a bunch of uneducated ...., if you do not drink wine then you just do not know better.

A nice vintage Cabernet Cabernet Sauvignon just cannot be beat. Also some of our white wines is just as good. Bugger the snail muggers we are tops.

Damn those uncivilized Castle supporters they do not what wine is, I am sure.

I reckon its true that guys drink more wine in CT. We are right next to the Stellenbosch wine valley and close to Robertson so we go to more Wine festivals and a wine tour in the valley is a good way to spend the day. I drink red but like too many to mention. Currently enjoying Diemersfontein pinotage and Degrendel Shiraz 2006.

now now, no need to be like that.

I enjoy wine, beer, single-malt whiskey, rum, tequila on the rocks.

it's all about what you enjoy ;)

Now there's a smart post ;)

But a vintage wine or a aged whiskey, well ..... that is just different.

I'm a bit of a girl. I enjoy a heavily wooded Chardonay and Sauv Blac. Dry white wines are more my thing. I do really enjoy a good bottle of Haute Cabrier Pinot Noir or a Meerlust Merlot or Rubicon. I'm not a big fan of cheap reds.

Also Graham Beck Brut NV. Stuff is nectar from the Gods.

Yes. But I stop at 3 glasses. Any more and I will have the mother of all head aches the morning after.

I'm not too picky about the varieties. As long as it doesn't taste like Tassenberg.

I can't drink white wine.

Just remember: you do get some good Tassenbergs. They come from a variety of vats and each batch is never the same. However, you'll never a bottle from the same batch again!
