I used to play roulette and blackjack. I used to nail the casino for almost 2 years straight, most I ever won in a single night was R40 000 in the prive. In total I made about R300 000 profit (in the 2 years), had to stop because the house started reclaiming the cash so I didnt want to give it back. Also one casino I used to play often at, they suspected me of cheating so fail. I was a hobbyist magician in my campus days and a buddy of mine said try it (think he saw derren browns show lol). So I started of with R300 made R600 and started banking the profits in a seperate wallet and only took that money to the casino (its key to keep money seperate so you dont fall into the trap of spending thinking you up when you really down). So i played 'big' with their money, guess it was pure luck that I won double to 4 times what I came with the first few trips after that I started studying a lot on the games. I learnt how the automatic card shufflers worked.
I also found the games like poker where you seem to have the best chance of winning, are the worst games and never go near a slot machine unless you want to be a zombie. When I was a noob (this is after the dare), I used to spend long periods of time just watching never played learning and speaking to mainly the asians and picking up tips on how to play. Then I created my own method to play blackjack and roulette. Poker is only good if you playing against other people if you playing the house you going to lose, because the house has an unlimited bankroll and there is usually a criteria for the dealer to qualify so you win, which means the dealer isnt going to fold and no matter how good you are in poker that skills mean nothing since you cant bluff the house to fold. I will explain my methods of playing blackjack and roulette, though its not up for debate I find they work very well and no its not a guaranteed system to win, you cant win all the time without some luck but these tips if you interested will save you some money and perhaps help you murder the dealer. The first thing is never to rush, chill take your time and never play big with your own money only theirs.
I will start with blackjack since thats the game I still play now and then although im not so good at it anymore. Firstly the best thing I can tell you for blackjack is to find a table THATS EMPTY only you must play so no unexpected outcomes can happen from random people that are drunk or dont know how to play. You have to learn a thing called basic strategy but its just to give you an idea on what to do its not law like how some people play the game, for example if the dealer has a 10 and you have 16 whats the point of hitting? you hit you either bust or you draw out the low card to get 18 19 20 21 but that increases the chances of the dealer drawing 10 J Q K A (high cards) to get 20 or blackjack. If you leave the hand that low card will most likely cause the dealer to bust. It also depends where the 16 is, this works if its the last box before the dealer draws. Now you have to train your brain to automatically calculate the odds of a high or low card (now its a variation of card counting but casinos use an automatic shuffler which nullify this but it still gives a good estimate of whats going to happen). Also remember cards come in pairs, you will get a couple of low cards then a couple of high cards (if you dont believe me suffle a deck of cards and deal the deck and see and with the nature of shuffles the casino use you get about a 3-7 card run of high or low, usually). If you practice enough playing with real cards (not a computer game) you will gain an instinct on the flow of cards, its kinda hard to explain but its like when you play chess (if you good) you can see instantly what moves are available to you and predict outcomes from each move, its some what similar in blackjack with experience. So this is why never play on a table with many players cause if you get a run of high cards then those high cards will be exhausted by the time you recieve your second card leaving hard 13 14 15, utterly useless. MOst players will break before the dealer has to draw. The next thing is the flow of the game usually winnings come in streaks either the player wins in a streak or the dealer does (now this applies for tables with 3 players or less, the more players the more difficult it becomes to predict the outcome). There are two ways to deal with this minimum bet and titrate your bet with your winnings because the winnings are the casino's money you not going to go anywhere banking R50 a round. So I used to play R100 a box (R25-R50 in the pairs - will explain this later). If I win the next is R150 box R50 pairs, if I win again its R300 box if I win again its R600 then R1200 and then I leave it there and start banking, now I only need to catch a small run of 3 - 4 rounds and im out, if I lose ive only lost R150 in reality. The bet can be decreased after a a big run because eventually the game is going to swing to the dealers favour. I once saw an asian guy win 63 hands in a row in the prive with 3 boxes each with R4000 bets so he won R12 000 per round for 63 straight rounds (madness). Blackjack is a simple game there is only 3 outcomes, you win you lose or stand off.
Now usually I play 1 box to keep things cheap but once im established I move to 3 boxes. 2 main boxes with largish bets and one busting box with minimum bet. The SOLE purpose of the last box is to disrupt the flow of cards and f**k the dealer up. The greatest experience I had for this was I had R500 R500 and R50 in my bets, and my hands were 17 19 10 and the dealer had a king. I took no cards on 17 and 19 and one on 10 and recieved an ace making the hand 21 OR 11 ... this is key most casinos will automatically stop you from drawing another card here. I complained and said thats 21 or 11 so I ask the dealer to give me a card. It was a 10 leaving me with 21 now. I asked for another card, since no where on the table does it say the player must stand on 21, another picture was delt busting my hand at 31. The dealer then drew for his hand and bust. So i won my 17 and 19 hands which made me R1000 where as if i got exited at 21 and didnt have the busting box to disrupt the cards I would lost the two R500 bets. You can also shift the flow of cards buy alternating between number of boxes played, but I found that a busting box give you more control.
Now onto the perfect pairs (or your casino eqivalent). Ideally you not suppose to play this it eats away your money, but I find that a little bit of luck in this department can really boost your procedings well and allow you to play big. The biggest mistakes noobs make is play the same amount in the pairs as the box, they lose money and never actually win anything. You need to play enough to cover it when you win and still have money to increase your bet. I usually play minimum R50 but I find it must be one quarter of what you bet in the box is ideal. So if you play R100 in the box you should play R25 in the pairs. i usually max at R50 in the pairs but if things are going well then you can increase it as you see fit. The key is if you win your box the winnings must pay for the next hand pairs, in other words let the casino pay for this lucky draw.
Now the final bit WRT insurance and surrender. Most of the time you will follow basic strategy and the flow of cards here. Never surrender a hand 11 or less. Surrender 12 - 16 if the dealer has a 10, though twelve is a grey area again depends of the flow of cards, but only 4 cards can hurt you with 12 and thats 10 J Q and K so you have 9 other cards that can improve your hand. If you not sure then dont draw a card and that hand would be as if you surrendered it (of course this applied with multiple boxes, head to head against the dealer always surrender 12). Insurance must only be taken when you have large bets and when you have 19 or 20, other than that dont waste your money.
I will briefly explain splitting and doubling. I only double or split when the dealer has a 2 to 8. I only double 9 -11 no soft ace hands. I only split 2s 7s 8s (if dealer has 10 card i surrender the rest because I wouldve won money in the pairs no need to be greedy). Aces I only split in the dealer has a 3 4 6 because of the one card only. Splitting and doubling can win you alot of money but it can lose you a lot as well. Now and then I will split 10 valued cards against a 6 but only if I feel i have a good read on the flow of cards.
Well thats how I played and it got me my greatest achievement, I once won R35 000 from R2500 playing blackjack with my busting box strategy, had a crowd behind me and the so called "veterans" claiming I had no idea how to play. It was the same time The story about busting the 21 to 31 and everyone was passing side comments on how stupid I am until the dealer bust and I won R1000, ah the silence was the best burn ever

... I never played saturday nights, too many "im just out for a fun time" people and they can really cause damage to your game. Dont expect people to be kind either if you sit down and try this 3 box strategy, people are spiteful they will play badly on purpose just to make you lose, hence why I said find an empty table.
now this isnt a sure fire way to win LOL, its just how I play

... Mind you I did take a good couple of hits in the casino, but because I kept my casino winnings seperate from my job earnings, I never really lost any of my own money. Banked 300k spent the rest.
Roulette is too complex to explain on a forum, but if you interested in how to really play roulette then you got to study hard and look for a technique called "visual ballistics"
