If you define road rage as hooting and flipping someone off for driving like a po3s, then yeah..

Only once have I ever got out of my car with the intention of giving someone a PK was when a taxi clipped my side mirror when he was trying to be an arsehole and get through a gap in traffic that wasn't big enough for him... I think he got the worlds biggest skirk and somehow managed to disappear very quickly when I got out the car. This was probably around 15 years ago and definitely not something I'd do anymore though.

Yeah these days you could get bliksemmed and moered for your trouble or even shot. Not worth it.

Is it even possible to not feel frustration when you see one of these mamparas in the middle of a main road

I can see how that "sexy" can be off putting. I mean you'd like to be as cool as that, but you can't be.

The options should be:

1. I drive a bakkie
2. I do not drive a bakkie

What weird ass part of the world do you live in?

Most bakkie drivers are relatively chilled and laid back in comparison to the BMW and Polo drivers... that lot have some serious anger management problems in their lives.

Not so much road range but I once took revenge on an idiot on the N7.

It was around 18h00 on a dry winter night. No other cars but him and I.

He was driving at 80 kph on the passing lane and the left hand was empty. Follow him for 2 km, flashed my lights but he was unmoved. So I overtook him on the left and got on the right lane and let my car slow down to 75 kph. I did not brake, I just removed foot off the gas. Then I applied cruise control. He started getting frustrated until he decided to pass on the left, except I matched his speed and looked him dead in the eye as he tried but failed to pass. Then I accelerated away, using all 155 kW at my disposal.

He drove on the left hand lane the rest of the way I could see him.

It wasn’t road rage, it was a teaching moment.

I soon learned that this is a Cape Town problem so now I just pass left and keep going. Cape Town gonna Cape Town right?

I was just making an age old joke

Out of curiosity, what car do you drive?

Do you get road rage when you have been done-in while driving?
never and i have been driving since the model T came out.My grandfather who was born in 1891,bless his soul thrived on road rage and extended his unnatural life to beyond 2000.How you ask ,well the minibus problem in CPT.I suggest for a long life visit cape town and test your ability. If you win you lose and if you lose you still lose.

No, but SMH with some of the absolute terrible driving in SA. Also, the lack of awareness of other road users is frightening.

Drove like a taxi when I still stayed in Pretoria. Was quite fun at times.

Now, I barely know traffic [benefits of small town living] and when I do go to Gauteng I find myself to very forgiving (almost c'est la vie at times).

Must be the switch of numberplates from GP to FS...
