My latest upgrade after retaining my Samsung Note 4 for nearly 3 years and a bit came with a spare P10 Lite which remains unopened so guess it is spare. I am considering getting a Note 5 unopened from someone too but will see.

Yes, and it saved me recently when my primary phone (Note 4) was stolen in Cape Town; popped a prepaid sim into the old Note 2, synced to Google (changed my password, of course, as soon as phone was stolen) and all contacts were there. Old phone still had various useful apps on it, like Uber, so I could get a ride home back from the airport.
