If you have never had to move your CD-ROM to a lower bay because the Master and Slave connections on the IDE cable are too close together, or have never had to grab a magnifying glass to read the writing on the turbo, reset, power and case-locked cables and try find where the hell to plug them into the mobo, then you are a millenial

I've been doing it since before I went to school. Only one of my Pc's have ever been taken into a PC shop to get fixed because I could figure out a problem, but other than that they used to be taken to shops to show them how PC's are built. I've built so many gaming rigs and servers that I can probably do it blindfolded.

So basically yes

These days there no real challenge in building your own PC ...
> Easy screw-less designs (Had to build/open many a PC using only a bread knife because no screwdriver at hand).
> Rounded edges (I used to have hands that looked like they went through a cheese grater in my early years containing lots of PC building)

I had to do all of that and more and I am just entering my 30s so considered a millenial.

Built one a few weeks ago and it seems to be running fine and nothing set on fire yet, so I guess yes.

That said, my first complete self-build also ran fine for years with a Pentium chip and NO cooling fan (later on I added a small heatsink and 40mm fan on top) - never did anything more than some GameBoy emulation, but still

Hmmm I had a wrong definition of Millennial, didn't realise it was 1982-2004. That makes me a Millennial
