4 externals
1 is for series and movies
1 is for work backup
1 is for PS4 external HDD
1 is doing nothing yet

A couple.
1 for transferring data between places, like the office or friends. It's not used much since I got fibre.
1 Older usb2/e-sata one that requires external power and then 2 naked drives I use for revolving backups, photos only.

I am in the process of cleaning my photo collection a bit. Removing all the crap, and all the raw files of the photo's I'm done editing. I'm hoping to get it down to 100GB so that I backup the important ones to the cloud.

4.

One for personal backup, two for movies, one for work backup.

I own several. Main use is one that is permanently connected to my media laptop and is full of kids movies. We used to watch series and movies off it as well yonks ago but that has largely stopped due to streaming.

I do keep backups of photo's etc on another in case of a HDD crash.

Yes, I use it to store ExploitedTeens, MILFHunter, BangBus, StreetBlowjobs, 8thStreetLatinas, DirtyLatinaMaids, etc etc

Vintage stuff.

Suppose it depends on your definition of "external harddrive", if that means a sealed unit with a USB interface then I don't have any.. I do have a few regular disks and a USB dock station though. Use them for backups mainly.

I assume they mean not internal. :)
