The first one with the lightning plug. I don't use it any more because I'm ****ing sick and tired of buying new lightning cables every week. Those things are more fragile than Floyd Shivambu's temper

I get mine from musica - R99 and I usually lose them before I break them.

Ummm - Hate to break this to you, BUT - it's you.

2 x iPad airs are just over 2 years old, all on original cables.

2 x iPhone 5S, just over 4 years old, still on original cables.

2 x iPhone 6S, just over 2 years old, still on original cables.

Nothing wrong with the cables - all the devices are charged daily, so cables are used every day.

Strange that my USB cables with exactly the same usage pattern (plugged in at night on the bedside table, never taken anywhere else) last forever.
 
Yes, iPad2 for my wife. But the damned screen (LCD) has stopped working and I don't know where to find someone who can repair it for less than the price of a new one....
 
I agree! I have an iPhone 5 and I am on my ?th cable.... The lightning cables are utter cr*p.
 
Nope. I used to get all the latest flagship Android phablets and that always seemed enough. Have now moved over to a small iPhone and do miss the big display just a tad :erm:
 
The truth is - I have an iPad 2. It has worked flawlessly for - well must be about 6 years.
The screen has a crack on the edge that appeared from nowhere a few months back.

Its only function now - is a plaything for the grand kid.

I own a Samsung Tab S3 which is a million times better in every way and way more advanced than any iPad.

Believe me one you have a Samsung Tab S3 you will never look at another iPad!
