Do you own bitcoin?

Where can you online buy or sell bitcoin with ZA rands ?
Would love a list.

Then read further up the thread, at least two options have already been given and there are more.

I wish I could get bitcoins three years before the concept was pitched publicly.

Bought mine in 2005 and 2011, at the time worth about R7200. At today's rate it is just under R16000. Bought it in England, spent none so far

Nah, but I wish I got on the bus back in 2010/11.

EDIT:
The below was in an ITWeb newsletter dated 18/01/2016.

But then this happened...

Yes, yes, no. Not spending any of it, only changing cryptonotes to bitcoin

Bitcoin

Yes I own bitcoin, earning it in a network marketing business, and I am mining it. I sold a few coins to buy some home essentials, working towards 5 BTC so I can just blow it on whatever. The rest I earn will be used to pay off my bond :)

Bitcoin is the future of money :-)

Is there a local exchange for Ethereum (ETH) ?

You can also install Ethereum Wallet, then choose 'fund'. You will receive a Bitcoin address where you can transfer bitcoins to and it will automatically be converted to and paid into your Ether address. It worked for me (I bought R100 worth of Bitcoin to test it through www.luno.com and sent it via luno). I was running Geth and am not sure if you need it and have to download the chain first for the ethereum wallet to work.

Geth is at: https://geth.ethereum.org/downloads/

Never too late. Cars were invented a century ago, it is still not too late to buy and drive one.
Different concept. If you're not on the BC boat by now it's too late and there are better options. In the next year or two mining will be prohibitively expensive so it's anyone's guess what will happen when it bottoms out.

Fear of asking stoopid questions in public I guess. But you're correct.

So... I have a Luno Wallet. Bought some Bitcoin there. Then Opened a Coinbase Account.

Now what?

Do I trade the BC for dollars? Another currency? Just keep buying BC?
Don't worry mate I'm still trying to figure out what an Ethereum Wallet is. Meanwhile everyone is telling me things about it acting like I should know. It's like telling someone to select anti-aliasing when they don't even have a clue what a game is.

Don't own any any more unfortunately. Don't currently mine. I spent all I had.

Not too late to get into the game. But like any investment, diversification is important.
