Technically I pay for YouTube Music too but have never used it, don’t have a choice though.
 
No. I would get Youtube Premium with Youtube music if there was a Youtube music app for Apple tv because that the only place I would ever play music on as its connected to sound system.
 
Yes, Youtube premium family plan. Hardly use the music, mainly for the video content. The wife and kids are more into the music and use both.

According to a source familiar with the matter, YouTube Music is coming to more devices with another goal being to improve existing third-party experiences, like Sonos.

There’s already YouTube Music on iPhone and iPad, while a “Music” experience lives inside the main YouTube for TV app. Google is now planning a separate YouTube Music app for Apple TV that should allow for more direct access, starting with a dedicated app icon. We’re not clear if this will translate to Android TV, but hopefully it will be for consistency.

Can't get kids onto wife's YTP cause son is under 13 so can not change his age on google and can not change his country when he is under 13.
Daughter got a new number and google account last year so can not change country till the account is at least a year old.
 
Part of the Apple One account, so stopped Spotify.

Imagine an ad in the middle of a song. I’ve got TY Premium. Comes with YT Music. I’m happy.
 
Youtube family plan and Spotify family plan.

Youtube for home and Spoitfy in the car.
