Card - looking forward to being able to use NFC/tap to pay at more retailers, so far I've only been able to do it at Engen Quickshop

Card - Never draw cash and when i'm at a place that does not use accept card, then i use a pay app ( SNAP Scan )

Definitely card. I like tracking expenses to keep from overspending and to budget accurately. Its safer (in a way), and best of all is the ABSA rewards. I drive about 200km a day, so I get rewarded properly for swiping on fuel...between me and the wife, our rewards literally pays for monthly groceries. Cash does not...

Lloyds doesn't play nicely with Samsung for some reason, otherwise I probably would.

Weird, I have my Halifax card registered with AndroidPay, exactly same backend system as Lloyd’s and it works ok.

Or do you have a Lloyds Amex?

Nope, current account. Just doesn't like the Lloyds card for some reason and won't let me register it.
