Do you remember, was it 2001 or rather the days of the nokia 5210 internet over WAP on your monochromic lcd's was it C.S.D 9.6kbps charged at cell phone call rates, Then there was the Nokia 7250/Samsung T100 with G.P.R.S and how cool life was the first always online broadband connection @ 54kbps and if i remember correctly Vodacom charged you R45 per MB that was almost R150.00 to download an Mp3 @ 3.5mb. Today we can connect at up 1.8mbps and Vodacom charge you a meer R2.00 per mb i think before we moan to much we need to look at where we'v come from. Hats off to you Vodacom just think if it's come down this much in such a short time what it will be like in the future! be patient

Just think how small the devices have become. Before GSM, I had one of those Siemens 'porta-potty' phones. Was the size of a small PC. Used to take it into restaurants!

Then the first GSM handset, even though it was the size of a brick, I could carry it in my pocket......hmmm.....only now realised all the winking from the girls had nothing to do with my stunning good looks.....
