Because they can pay half.

/facepalm

No thanks, then I have to share my password with them, and they have full access to my account, etc. There's nobody beyond those that live with me that I share my account with. Even my mom has a separate account that I pay for on her behalf. In any case, when Netflix starts cracking down on password sharing one of the first things they'll be looking at is what IP address are concurrent logins coming from.

I pay for a family subs to Netflix for R219. It quite clearly says “4 users”

We use it
My aunt uses it
My sister in law uses it
My in-laws use it

I cannot honestly see what is wrong with what I am doing. It’s my way of helping them out, none of them pay me anything

Not really

From their own site.

This means I can go visit somebody, sign into their TV's and verify that they're allowed to watch, forget to log out and leave.

Also, by the looks of it, these are updated TOS (not 100% sure though)
Seems straightforward. You are the household, where you go the sub goes and when you leave the sub leaves with you.

Would share with children, if they where setup for streaming, voted No.

Don't regard, taking my box to Brother in Law, connecting to his internet and streaming a few movies, or whatever as sharing, while we braai and enjoy a few cold ones.

No. Don't use any streaming services at all. Can't even quickly remember the last movie I watched. Though I do remember I watched a few episodes of Big Mouth July of last year with a girl on her phone...Was totally her idea

My mom and my in-laws use my Netflix account. They cannot afford it themselves and only use it once or twice a month.

I wonder how Netflix is planning on preventing sharing. They either need to restrict the number of registered devices or only allow a single concurrent user log in.

My Netflix subscription allows 4 concurrent screens to be used. Often times me, my wife and my son would all be watching something different on Netflix at the same time. If this function is removed it will seriously impact on the usefulness of Netflix.

I said no because I don't share accounts not intended for sharing.

Netflix also says that only people who live with you may use your account.

Not saying I agree though, because it needlessly punishes non-nuclear families who don't necessarily reside together. IP address checks are stupid imo. All the services should just put a limit on simultaneous streams for each account tier and call it a day.

Have premium 4 screens option.

Sharing with my student kid in another city.

Part of my household. So would have an issue if I can't share with student.

Usually 3 members using at anytime. 4th in case anybody else (edit in my household) wants to use.

No, only because everyone I know has their own Netflix account.
And no one else I mingle with cares for Spotify or Crunchyroll.

I do use a friend's DSTV Now logins to stream UFC fights on the weekends though.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
