Two desktops at home, one laptop for power outages/travel, tablet for meetings, and of course a smartphone.

Yes, but only at home. Prefer desktops. More cost effective to repair and upgrade.
Was planning to use as a media storage device, but with Netflix and streaming . . . . . . .

Laptop at Work and Laptop at Home.
Dont have enough space for a desktop at home.

My life is spread over 4 seperate desktop pc. Work. Games. Music production. Malware.
Laptops are for ass holes.

Yes of course, nothing beats the ergonomics of a desktop PC. It's for Internet research and gaming.

Yes, 2 desktops

1 old one hidden away and used as a HTPC
1 new gaming pc

Nope... I have a Laptop for work.

At home I have a QNAP running as a media center which works awesome. Streams to my Smart TV, Media center decoder in the lounge and to all my mobile devices (Tablets, Cell phones)

And I am a console gamer, Xbox all the way.

So all in all, no need for a desktop. A total waste of space and money in my eyes.

I have a desktop in the living room. It has about 2.5TB of storage and it's connected to the TV via HDMI. It games using the 20 inch monitor and doubles as a movie broadcaster on the TV. I have visual studio on it but most of my developmental work is done on the laptop which runs Linux Ubuntu and the web development tools. I also use it as backup for important files and have it synced with the OneDrive which has that 1TB that comes via office 365.
