All the time, home, work and entertainment (plugged into tv).
 
I don't have a laptop anymore.
My PC is used for everything, especially gaming.

Desktop

Don't think i can go back to a laptop after using a 27inch monitor.
 
Yes , still have a gaming desktop for home use and the office still uses a desktop as well.
 
Always, at the office and at home. I use the Laptop only when I really need to. Like for monthly reports in a boardroom.
 
What?? After answering the poll question, I was totally expecting people to be using laptops instead of desktops. This was a bit of a surprise...
At home, my laptop has replaced my desktop. Major benefit: I can do work whilst lying in bed, especially on cold days :D

The question isn't exclusive though...I'd say most professionals use both. Laptops are ubiquitous in offices nowadays but at home, people use what they want which is a mixture. Desktop in the study, laptop \ tablet in bed or on the loo :)
 
Since i became an Apple fanboi and got a Macbook, never needed a desktop again in my life. I could not imagine using one its like being asked whether you prefer driving a Microbus to a Porsche 911. I do miss it for gaming but since I never have time to play games anymore, thats also out.
