Subscribe to R29 p/m EasyView.
With no PVR use - about R115 extra p/m for that BS

Strangely excludes eNews channel via satellite, but is available via their streaming.

Elsewhere we have free Premium"+" access. Not used a lot.

I canceled my DSTV about 7 years ago. A fibre line is worth more then DSTV access any day of the week.

With the fall of Hansie Cronje I lost my taste for Cricket forever.
It was the IPL and other Indian tournaments that did it for me, what's the point of having national teams if everyone gets mixed up when going to India??

Occasional normal game is still nice though, nothing beats squashing the English

I was also disappointed in Hansie but life goes on. Just because I had one bad apple it should not prevent me from eating other apples.
Whenever I see a good team preform badly I had to ask myself if the game was legit or not. Then eventually I just stopped watching.

Have access to an account should I want to. Watch only some sport from time to time with no interest in any other of their programmes. So, I suppose the answer 'no'.

Explora 3 was rubbish didn't last 6 months, programming was getting worse and I got out before they did away with channel 115. I never got so many communications from DStv afterwards begging me to come back, I ended up blocking them.

(Prime isn't much better, actually it is worse. But I didn't have to upgrade my fibre, so on a month to month basis I'm saving. )

DSTV reactivated my account without my consent, I phoned them and asked them who gave them the go ahead. at first they claim I did and I said no I have my cancelation records and I never reactivated. Eventually they turned it off again.

Always check up on them that your DSTV didn't magically reactivate.

Yes, tell me where else I can get reliable sports with local commentators
And no, I'm not gonna connect my laptop to my tv, click on 13 different dodge stream links and hope none of them kak out during the game

If you live for sport then DSTV is for you. I am just not interested in sport anymore. DSTV is build on its sport channels everything including their existence revolves around that fact.

For me, my LP collection is perfect, playing PC games with my family is perfect. DSTV can't provide that level of entertainment. Sure we will rent a movie or if there is a good show on Netflix we will get a gift card for that month. But DSTV for R880 a month? Unless they actually include a good fibre line with a good speed along side it. Its not worth it.
