Genetic diversity is required for viable populations - if we insist on correcting or altering some genetic variations in favour of others we might fall foul of our own success in seeking perfection but sacrificing diversity. I doubt it is a question of if we should but more how far we will push the envelope which should be debated.
 
I'm more worried about the developments in transhumanism

That will solve the electric car problem, smaller batteries required it may work, like cameras today.

We'd zip around in littlle rc cars, and fly around in drones. Transport is already catered for.
Would have been better if humans were tiny.

Dude if you get a deadly cancer that Gene Editing can fix for you, you are going to want to have the money to get it sorted out and continue living. So best they crack on.
 
GMO humans probably skips a step in the natural progression of things, what should come first is a good eugenics program.
