you can tap any amount - unless you mean tap without it asking for a pin?
then every bank is different like standard bank is R500 but randomly lower amounts some times it will ask for a pin. (personally wish they would set it lower or allow us to set that)

Yeah I tapped for around R230 or so without having to insert the pin. I was told that R200 was the max without the pin. It's an FNB credit card.

FNP upped it to R500 2 or 3 years ago IIRC

Yeah. Garmin pay though, so much easier than having the card.
In fact, between this, snapscan and zapper, my card is merely there for backup at places that aren't woke enough.

Use my watch to pay exclusive... to the point where I only go to stores where that’s possible

Never tap. I got he bank to disable the service on all our cards. If I use a card at all it is for larger amounts anyway.

With this Corona thing, I only tap. I'm not sticking my card into a machine where thousands have.
