I think you can just walk into a shop and buy one on launch day.

HOWEVER , if you are going to buy one then if you pre-order one from BT Games you get a R100 voucher off your first game...

So it's cheaper to pre-order. I am sure there are more deals (http://www.lazygamer.co.za/ps3/ps3-only-r629995/ plus R150 voucher)

Scotty, If you've decided you absolutely, definitely going to buy one then there's no reason not to pre-order, why take the chance if it's unnecessary?

Having said that - I would only pre-order if you're going to order from somewhere doing a midnight launch. By all accounts there seem to be a heck of a lot of available PS3 stock, you should be able to just pick one up in the morning.

Besides Midnight launches are fun
