Do you have a third-party antivirus program installed on your PC?

No I use Linux and Windows Defender included in Windows is more than good enough. On Android there's no need for one since Google also includes one.
No, Linux
No, mainly due to cost. Kinda relying on Windows inbuilt security software (defender) to keep me safe but I do occasionally worry that that is insufficient. Note before MS released Defender I used to use AVG free, back in the days of Windows XP and earlier.
Then of course is the fact that modern antivirus companies don't just sell anti virus stuff now. There is also browser protection, malware protection, etc. Are any of those worth it anymore?
We have 3 laptops in the house, so it would be more like R75 per month, which yes, would add a bit to my budget. Anyways, have been just using windows defender for about 10 years now and have not had a single virus or major loss so I guess that is the biggest reason I don't bother. It helps that I do not torrent or download dodgy cracked files etc. which I hear is the main source of malware these days. You don't have R25 a month? Shame, times are hard.
What cost is it to you if you lose all your data?
RE: "Moden antivirus companies don't just sell anti virus stuff now", sure, but you can still get a plain old antivirus without the bells and whistles they TRY to sell with it.
