Do you use an amp with your antenna?

Just curious if anyone here uses an amplifier on their antennas connected to their neotel modems?

If so, what type of amp do you use?

ushir, as the Poynting installation guy told me it's not suggested to use amps on antennas. They are boosting all signals they can grab, so it won't help you get a better signal just boost all the crap. We had to extend the normal 7 meter cable by an additional 3 meters. That's as far as advisable, not any longer! Signal comes still clear and strong tho.

Anyhow, I just cancelled my Neotel account and am now selling my Poynting antenna. It cost me 985 bucks and I will sell it to the highest bidder. Offers on PM please.
