Do you use Chromium or Chrome on your PC

Last night i decided that its time to install Chrome again.
After the installation I found a website that compare Chrome vs Chromium

Another common question concerns the actual differences between Chromium and Google Chrome. In practical terms, they are minor. The short version, Google Chrome is Chromium with a different logo and a slightly different spelling. This is what Google Chrome adds to Chromium builds:
- the Chrome logo and other branding changes;
- an auto-updater which downloads and installs the latest Chrome version from the respective channel;
- an option, enabled by default, to send anonymous usage statistics to Google;
- code to send stats like installs and country info back to Google, no option to disable it;

After reading the compare of the two i decided to remove chrome and replace it with Chromium.

Chrome on my main pc, chromium on my linux netbook.

Firefox (mainly) and Chrome on my desktop PC, Chrome on my netbook, but I will give Chromium a bash in my Arch in a VBox.

Switched to Chromium on Windows, [-]no jumplists[/-] I see but I can live with that, no questions asked on installation and plus I can sync my extensions without the need to add command line switches.
Plus I prefer the colour blue of the icon . Also the new AdBlock came out yesterday that actually blocks the ads from downloading rather than merely hiding them.
Edit: Scratch the jumplist prob, it's working. Thank you Logicklz, makes switching to Chrome and Chromuim convenient.

Chromium is fast becoming my favorite browser...
There are few extensions that I can't live without

Adblock and New Tabs Always Last.

The other thing is that Chromium feels so much faster than Firefox.
I did a benchmark test on "service.futuremark.com/peacekeeper" and here are the results.


5508 - Chrome 6.0.464.0 (Chromium)
4504 - Chrome 5.0.375.99
4357 - Opera 10.60
2576 - Firefox 4.0b1
1959 - Firefox 3.6.7

Tried Chromium for a a week or so, but then went back to Opera. Turbo function on there is a bandwidth life saver

I use all of the on my Ubuntu and W7.
1. Firefox default
2. Opera Speeeeeed and indeed a bandwidth saver on broadband
3. Internet explore ( SABC radio only streams to this browser)
4. Google chrome speeeeeeed
5. Safari for the hell of it.
