Never used headphones with work, only use them at home to not disturb others.
 
When at the office (rarely) then yes. Sony WF-1000MX3
When at home, when I do listen to music, there's a big change I'm just using the speakers, Logitech Z2300
 
How many people here are like this with their ANC headphones?

 
50/50 - I have a Skullcandy HESH 2.0 pair as my main headphones that is used for online meetings, music and watching youtube. It is the only sound output on my main PC and has been so since 2017. At my secondary PC I used smaller in ear Skullcandy Jibs.

I don't do speakers.
 
Headphones is a must in an open plan office. It can`t be good for the ears for too many years, but that is still less damaging than the viruses picked up in a closed open plan office = 5 years off your life expectancy.

There's no law or rule explicitly banning use of headphones in the workplace but I don't think they're safe in the industry where I am, even for office workers. I have desktop speakers...

Think the desktop speakers are unsafe especially if someone thinks your music is kak
 
99% if the time.
Since I'm getting calls via the softphone i do not even take them off for calls.

Razer kraken (don't remember) that does not squash my glasses into my skull.
 
Sony MX3s are on my head pretty much all day. Almost never listen to music, but often in calls.

I enjoy the noise canceling, helps me focus.

I read that despite the xm5’s the xm4 is still considered the best.

I have the xm4 and is blown away by the ANC ability (unfortunate acronym there). I can stay hyper focused with them all day long. Excellent sound quality but that’s not the important part. It’s the noise cancelling makes these worth it

Need to get a pair for the Mrs, her XM3s broke so this would be a good upgrade. Though tbh she'd prefer the apple over ears
