LinkedIn is a very good place for dating.

It's the one place, hot women reach out to you in droves. For some reason, they block me when I respond, though. Maybe doing something wrong?

Any tips?

Yes.

It's advisable for everyone to put effort into their profile. It's often one of the first things companies who are interested in you will look for when doing their online research.

If you are not confident about your writing skills, even consider hiring a professional to write the profile for you.

I've got freelance gigs from there and also made some contacts who turned into valuable sources of info and some friends as well.

If you are working in STEM/Tech, it's very possible to get a job via LinkedIn due to the sheer number of recruiters from those fields. If you are in other fields, it's still a valuable source of industry news.

Yes.
Does help when you looking for a job.
Company also wants us to be active on it.

LinkedIn is the most superficial social network on the planet. It makes instagram look like an authentic place.

No body:

LinkedIn Influencers:

Yesterday I was walking to an interview. There was a starving dog on the road. I stopped to feed him & missed the interview. The next day I got a call asking to come in to do the interview. I was surprised, but I went. Then the interviewer came in. He was the dog.

Depends who you follow if you do want to get value.

But for now, it is paying for itself. Entertaining Self-Centered Posts and regular free lunches from recruiters I string along.

It is basically what I would expect tinder is for a hot woman, for me, free meals.

I use it for prospecting.
It isn't the best source but I have gotten some business from it.

Yes, despite it being a platform for self admiration or boasting or inspirational crap. It is quite useful when seeking opportunities.

Used to, but deleted it due to continuous random spam. From Chinese/Indian pharmaceutical companies punting their products/"looking for local opportunities" to local idiots offering "investment opportunities" or "NFC trading/investment opportunities".

Every Tom, Dick & Harry thinks that this is the prime reason for joining.

I used Premium as the training content is good value for the price. But dropped to a normal profile again as I don't have time for training lately. I want to do the redhat stuff and will subscribe again when I have a gap.

Yes, I have found it quite useful. My found my last two jobs using the site.
