I find it irritating - I lack patience to scroll through pictures/links of people I don't know! I think it has lost its purpose of linking to people you want to - it has become a random 'linkup' tool. some articles are good. It has pros and cons.

I have LinkedIn, but don't really use it, probably because I'm not really looking for a job, but my GF did redo my entire profile to make it look more professional etc and then gave me tips on how to use it.

She says many people treat LinkedIn like Facebook for jobs, it's not like Facebook in anyway and that's why people don't see the results - if you use it correctly, you get headhunted - and seeing how she has recently been headhunted by multiple companies, I understand.

Regardless, I have no intention of leaving EMS so I don't care about that side of LinkedIn.
