Something to keep in mind - if you vape 2ml of 25mg fluid it’s around a pack of cigarettes worth of nicotine. It’s easy to become seriously addicted to the nic.
Still way healthier than cigarettes. I love nicotine and caffeine combo!
Interesting you mention that. Recall a study that showed that the uptake of nicotine was higher through vaping than smoking, too. Something to do with the size of the molecules.
I had cut down to around 5 cigs a day, vaping in between when I decided to drop the cancer sticks for good. Been vaping non stop since, though.
Because it didn’t stink, and I WFH, I just used to keep it on my desk and vape whenever I felt the need. To try and reduce how much I vaped, I then moved it away and left it in the bedroom, so I’d physically have to get up to vape. That then got moved even further to a drawer in the kitchen, so I’d then also have to open something to get it out.
For a laugh, I one day decided to count how many times a day I vaped. I expected maybe 10-15. So, started making a mark on the whiteboard on the fridge every time I went and got it out the drawer. 25 times a day was my maximum. It was shocking and eye opening to say the least! I loathe to think how much I vaped when I was sitting at my desk with it!
I then decided to break it down even further, and made columns for morning, afternoon and night. Late afternoon and evening seemed to be the busiest, so I took it a step further, and decided to place limits on how many times I was allowed to vape during those periods. Managed to go from 25 a day to an average of around 12 times a day. Weekends is less (lowest has been 8) because I get up a bit later. Intention is to lower the allotments each week, but consciously getting over the current max is proving to be tricky. Will soldier on, though.
