I've been an on and off smoker for years, I quit for 3 years before covid, and started smoking again after the bans were lifted. I dont know, psychological warfare perhaps :/
But I haven't stopped since, it was more casual smoking and then big issues at work and I was doing a pack a day, and now that back in good job and mind space cut back to (10 - 12 a day). Which is still a lot. I want to cut back and subsidize with vaping - I've just been using these air pops disposables which really like. (Grape tastes like chappies bubblegum)
I think for me now it's mostly the routine I'm hooked on, so if I can go outside and do one or two puffs of a vape instead of lighting up a smoke that will help. If I go out to site visits or meetings or pop into office, I dont smoke, same when visit family. Social things I smoke like a steam train though.
I always used to quit cold turkey and be okay, but struggling to do that now.
