Documentary: Tainted Heroes

Who is going to watch it?People who are already against the ANC. I doubt it'll be shown on SABC / Etv. As Orbital said it's from afriforum so it's going to be biased as heck if one looks at afriforum.I don't see the point of people bringing up the anc's dirty past.

Their voters already know about it and aren't going to change their mind.If the ANC made a film about the DA and showed their "shady past" then it'll be viewed as propaganda and would be ripped to pieces.I wish the opposition would stop talking about the ANC and start talking about what they can do for the voters. All I ever see from from the DA is bad things about the ANC & Zuma etc etc.Gone a bit off topic here but I believe it ties in.

Afriforum is not a political party.

If they were I would cancel my membership.

Watched it last night. Any more who did since this thread was started ?

.....and your opinion?

Honest opinion ? I was like   Not nice to sit where we are now and see how everything played out. BUT, very interesting history. People say it is propoganda, bullsht, it's true facts. The man who won a freedom prize (You know him), just out of jail he was filmed saluting all the fckers who killed, placed bombs etc..

Watch it... then give your opinion.

You know, for all of you that "loath" AfriForum so much, they actually do a whole lot of good. They take municipalities to task and get result.

Their only "crime" is their name and image being that of "white people".

Still haven't seen this documentary but I reckon it should be released before the elections if it has a chance of doing damage to the current government who are inept to lead a country. Factual? Whatever, the end justifies the means. This government is killing the country.

I think that people need to realise that where the criticism is coming from is more important than the criticism its self.

Like when Malema has something to say about white people we automatically shut off.... or get defensive. There is obvious history there.... I feel like the same thing is happening with Solidarity and the ANC.

There is a clever strategic way to do these things. When Solidarity release stuff like this its going to an audience who is already expecting to hear things like this.

Seems Im new to the party but watched this doccie today. Couple of stylistic irritations but I couldnt find any faults with the facts. There are some opinions which could conceivably be argued with as such for example they state that the ANC was becoming a pretty impotent organisation until it jumped on the Sharpeville bandwagon and a few other things.

Something new (well i had forgotten) was the way the ANC/SACP took lessons learnt in Vietnam and applied them here. They were very effective at what they did.

Ultimately the alliance was a staunch Marxist/Leninist one and although it downplayed and diverted from this ideology for a while it seems their true colours are starting to show again and we are heading for a Marxist state (Once the top dogs have accumulated enough Capitalist gravy of course)

Welcome to the party - What lessons learned in Vietnam did they apply ?
