Does *162*pin# update immediately or not?

On a MTN contract when you have to type *162*pin# to check your balance, does it update immediately or only after a while?

Only updates after a while, AFAIK something like few hours

Well, I dont think it is your immediate balance, because my balance has changed while I didnt make a call.

I, for one, and very impressed with this facility, it does take a while to update, but much better than the 258/808 crap.

I've had mixed "success" with *162. Sometimes it updates immediately after a call, sometimes only the next day.

top up uses a diferent ussd (*141 i think) to normal contract

2-24 hours is the standard, depending on the traffic.
