could someone please pm me the new uct hub addresses? i see the usual ones are out of action
 
I am also struggling with what I thought was the latest hub address. Someone please PM me the address. Please!
 
This thread is going nowhere slowly. People are just registering to ask for the Hub addresses. Can anything be done about this? For some reason I just find it annoying.

i know this will be annoying, but can pretty please send me the address too? i need my fix :P
 
Why would anyone want it if they are not at UCT, its pointless, you will just be kicked for being a slow user. There are enough local hubs out there.
 
Hmm, the hub that replaced last years ones seems to be down. Anyone know whether this is just a temporary thing, or has ICTS launched another offensive -_-

I heard that there was another hub running last week, but I've forgotten what the address is. anyone know if this has replaced the previous one?

Man, I'm getting so tired of all this covert DC++ action. Why can't ICTS just release a statement saying that they don't condone copyright infringement and that students may only use DC++ for academic purposes. Rhodes University did something similar and it seems to be working fine for them...

If someone from ICTS wanted to know the hub addresses, he could just pretend to be a university student and ask someone for the address. Along that line of thought, it really makes no difference whether the addresses are posted in this thread or sent via PM.

Perhaps we should just post the addresses?
 
As I said UCT students know what the addresses are and it would be pointless for external users to connect as the speeds would be slow for both parties.

I think most, if not all of the people asking for the DC++ addresses are currently at UCT. Those people probably googled UCT DC++ hub, and MyBB appeared at the top of the search results page. Anyway, on another note, I really shouldn't have posted in this thread, coz now I have people PM'ing me to ask for the DC++ addresses.

For anyone else who would like to know the addresses, I'm not going to give it to you, firstly because I can't remember them, and secondly, if I did, I wouldn't give them to you anyway.
 
If UCT students want the address they just need to ask their friends, I think the whole of UCT knows about this
 
sigh, and now the hub that replaced the hub that replaced last years hubs is down... This is getting silly
