Does anyone know how much traffic this server would be able to handle?

We're planning to upgrade to a new website hosting server, and were wondering what kind of traffic it can handle. Here are the specs:

Intel Xeon Quad Core 3.2GHz
- 32 GB ECC RAM
- 1 TB SSD

We have about 60 domains on our current one but we want to plan for the future and see how far we can push this one

Any assistance at a ballpark figure would be wildly appreciated!

That's not how it works..

Amount of visitors per website at the same time and the framework the website are built on will determine the load and from there tell you what the server can handle..

Use Apache jmeter or ab to run load tests against copies of the websites on the new server..

Use a cache as well like Squid and optimise your load-balancing.

Depends on your apps. How much memory do they use. Are they continuously running apps like Java or .Net, or are they “spawned” apps like PHP.
