Does APPLE really care about AFRICA

I dont have a mission statement either, I just have a passion for my chosen profession.
Take Steve Jobs for example, what he want's from his business is the best designed products that money can buy, now I would assume that below him are ppl that were appointed to fulfill the rest of the criteria for running a successful company, even ppl who really care about customer service. But that's just my opinion.

For one thing, it's not Steve's business. It's the shareholders' business. Most of whom 'Care' only for profitable returns.

If there was a divine utopia, Steve could may well give us perfect Apples while smittening us with Care.

But the reality is that in the business realm, Steves reputed to be a highly aggressive egomanic. These qualities obviously serve him well steering the Apple empire but it's not a personality type that usually has profound Caring qualities.

Anyways, I'm digressing, you've missed my point.

Following on from some of the other threads here .....

On this Apple page you can sign in to send a friend who lives in another part of the World a MAC product as a gift -- (yes yummy :) )

Cross Border

( Sounds like something to do with  Homeland Security )

A quick look at the destinations will show -- Sorry folls we do NOT ship to your country :(

MW

Backtracking once again, Regarding the Cross Border service-

It's not a service where you actually ship an Apple product to a certain country. Rather, you order online and nominate a particular Country, whereon the respective local Apple co. will locally execute the order.

Much like it's possible to order at any country's official Apple online store and have the item delivered to anywhere within that country.

The reason SA is not included, is undoubtedly because Apple co. does not operate here.

So maybe the heading for this thread should rather be -

Does APPLE really CORE about AFRICA?

Putting the CARE back into business

Ja -- and he has had pancreatic cancer and a liver transplant.

The whole Apple empire including those miserable shareholders are shaking in their expensive designer leather shoes in case Stevie boy kicks the bucket and all their miserable shares go to shyte.

Seeing as someone brought up Michael Jackson -- blowed if I do not see the similarities.

Read about his early life as a hippy who never washed and refused to take care of his illigitimate daughter.

*NICE* guy :rolleyes::sick:

In your world it seems that you can do anything -- commit any crime --
Just as long as you continue to generate money for the shareholders -- everything is OK.
