Does anyone know if changing your phone number (from published in phone book to unlisted and obviously a new phone number) affects your ADSL? In other words do you have to go through the whole process of getting a line again?

Never tried it, but I shouldn't think so. The line is already in place and the technical junk at the exchange. Should not be too hard. But then again knowing Telkom they would find a way to screw it up for you. Probably charge you for two numbers for six months, then when you complain they will cancel the new number and leave you with the old one! ;)

I hope not because we have a abusive caller which is why I need to change the number ASAP

get called ID - get their phone number and constantly phone them back at 3 in the morning.

Or give us the number - they'll wish they never phoned you :D

Ja, give us their phone number. There are amazing things you can do with Skype! ;)
